LiteStep is a shell replacement for explorer.exe. What it does is replaces your current user interface with a much more stable, customizable, and less resource heavy interface. With this interface you can customize almost every aspect of your desktop and create a look and feel that is most comfortable to you as well as is best suited to your needs. I have made the switch and have no intentions on ever going back.

A word of warning, LiteStep is NOT a Plug & Play application, meaning that once you install it you will have to familiarize yourself with the software and spend some time configuring it to fit your needs.
